The RGI set all entrants of this year's annual exhibition a project, to produce a piece of work the size of a postcard. Brace yourself, I've produced this eerie looking piece, "Winter Smile" using black ink, which has been built up in layers, creating a stained effect.
The piece is pretty repulsive, but is very eye-catching and has a cold, winter-esque feel to it. The piece will be going in alongside many others, to the RGI Kelly Gallery, open from 3-18 December, so get yourself along.
