The glass if half . . .

This morning I was exploring some features on my partner's camera, (in this case, the timer) and was really impressed with some of the snaps I managed to capture.

Going back to 2006, I remember, whilst frantically trying to complete my portfolio to gain a place in Art School, I experimented by placing objects behind a glass of water and sketching the abstract projections through the other side. I was very impressed with the results, however, given the lack of time I had to develop these new sketches, I had to continue on with finalising my folio, and obviously let my sketches slip through my fingers. So now I am very determined to pick up where I left off, with some new pieces. Watch this space.
