Over the past few weeks, I've been experimenting with my painting style through various studies, opting for a more expressive execution. This has been more enjoyable for me and ultimately more spontaneous and creative than previous paintings.
Looking back over the past year, I feel my style has transitioned considerably. Which is all part of the process.
This week, when I've been in the studio, it has been great to just "let go" and be more loose with the paint brush (and other tools). After all paint is such a diverse and experimental medium.
